A little packaging guidance

A useful sample answers a real question

Start by deciding what you need to learn: physical fit, film appearance, closure use, print presentation or performance on a packing line. Different questions can require different samples or trials.

For pouch fit

Tell us the target size, actual product and fill quantity. Include the filling and sealing method, headspace and whether the package will stand or hang. A printed sample can show appearance without proving fit for your product.

For print and finish

Describe the film appearance, gloss or matte finish, window and color details you want to compare. Review representative print in normal viewing conditions; a screen illustration won’t reproduce every material effect.

For rollstock

Share the machine specification and what the operator needs to evaluate. A line trial may need a particular construction, width, repeat and unwind rather than a general sample pack.

Ask about availability before planning around it

Tell us what you need the sample to show, then ask about its format, preparation, cost and delivery. A free kit or sample service is not implied by the configurator.
